What about cost?

Costs can vary greatly depending on the resident’s level of care. Contributing factors include the nature of services required, the size of the accommodation selected and the location of the community. AssistCare facilities require a one-time administrative fee upon admission. Rent is paid on a month to month basis. In general, assisted living facilities are less expensive than in-home health or skilled nursing care.
